I have knitters block right now. Spinning has been wonderful and I do enjoy it, but I’ve always thought of myself as primarily a knitter. I’ve been knitting consistently since high school. I guess it’s normal to go through little up and down phases, but I don’t like it.
On the plus side, my ex husband did some travelling recently and I got to take care of the cat we got together but he ended up keeping when we separated. Her name is Poppy and she’s so tiny and sweet. Sometimes a little bitey but mostly a good girl.
I’ve been wondering if I just need to start a new small project just to get me going again. Maybe a pair of socks or a hat. I’m debating going by my favorite yarn store, Warm ‘n Fuzzy, to browse yarn and find some inspiration but I should probably pull yarn from my stash. There is something to be said about seeking inspiration though. Surrounding myself with other crafters and yarn is definitely a good thing when I’m not feeling it. Guess it’s time for a lunch trip to my LYS.

Haha. Sounds like a great excuse to buy some fun yarn,
It was but Warm n Fuzzy was closed for a summer break so I’m going to have to go by a different yarn store.
