This past weekend my computer stopped running. I do have a friend who is going to try to help recover my pictures and documents, but it doesn’t seem like my computer is going to make it overall. It was old and, to be honest, starting to get very slow. But it was still a reliable piece of equipment for me for a long time and I’m sad to lose it. I spent many hours playing games, watching knitting video podcasts, and researching patterns on that machine. Now I’m stuck with my phone and that just doesn’t feel sufficient.

In other news, I finished spinning some yarn! It was from Woolgatherings Fiber Club and had no colorway name that I could find. I talked to my friends and we decided on Sangria as the color name. I’m not sure it’s entirely a perfect name but it’s the best we could come up with. I liked Summer Sunset but was veto’d by my friends. I don’t mind though, they had a ton of fun thinking up a name.

Mo was totally oblivious that I posed the yarn with him. The weather in NC this time of year is beautiful and he loves watching outside when the window is open.

Yarn review to come for Woolgatherings Fiber Club Sangria soon!
