I was on such a roll with spinning the Oak Leaf Rambouillet. I’ve spun the first half and am maybe halfway done with the second. It’s coming out beautifully and I’m excited to see the yarn it creates.
But then, eczema struck. Every so once in a while I’ll get eczema on my hands and all my crafting comes to a halt as I let things heal up. I’ve been through it before so I know the drill but it always lasts longer than I expect. I know it’s a temporary pause, but ugh.
I don’t have many crafty updates in light of that issue. But in the meantime, I’m figuring out what to do with the 12lbs of peaches I bought.
I’m also taking Casper to the vet where he got a clean bill of health and a much needed nail trim. He didn’t appreciate the car ride and indignity of having someone touch his paws.
I’m thinking of heading to the yarn store for some new Chiaogoo swivel cables. I liked the one I got a lot and it’ll be a nice way to stay engaged with my hobby while I’m not able to actually do anything with my hands. Bets on if I also leave with some new yarn?
