Now that I’m no longer on vacation and am back to work progress on all projects has slowed. I picked up a new product at work and, while everyone is supportive and kind, the learning process is a struggle. I love learning new things in general but it’s a lot right now. Still, I am enjoying the work.
Even with progress slowing down, the Eun Sweater is looking like a real sweater! I haven’t split off the sleeves yet but I’m getting close. I only have a couple more increase rows.
I’m really loving how it’s going. I’ve definitely messed up and not increased when I needed to sometimes so some of my counts are off but whatever – it’s handmade so of course it has some quirkiness.
I also started Beach Daydreams by Allyson Scandale as a competition piece. The yarn is from Fibre Space in Alexandria, VA from my trip and is making such a beautiful fabric. While mine is not inspired by the beach, I do love that the designer talks about the beauty of North Carolina beaches for her pattern. I’m more of a mountain girly than beach but I still love my state for the natural beauty.

Love the raglan decoration of your increases. I’ve got to remember to use my dress form for checking my sweaters/tees as I knit them. I keep forgetting I even have it.
