I’m making good progress on my Beeswax Mitts. The first one is all finished and I’ve reached the palm on the second. If I keep it up then I should finish this weekend and be able to mail it out for my new sister-in-law’s birthday midweek.
I’m looking at what to knit next and feeling uncertain. It would be nice to make a sweater but I’ve tried multiple times and been burned so often. But I also don’t want to just give up on my goals. I’ve been looking at the Eun Sweater by Ane Fiskum Sunde and Champagne Cardigan by PetiteKnit. Leaning towards the Eun Sweater for it’s more unique shape.
I’m visiting my brother and sister-in-law next week and will need something to knit while on vacation. I’m thinking if I bring only a sweater project then I’ll have no choice but to push through my difficulties. We’re traveling by train so I’ll have lots of time to knit on it but a sweater’s worth of yarn is a lot to travel with. I’ve still got time to debate while I finish off the mitts. We’ll see what I end up doing. Who knows, maybe I’ll go rouge and start the Linearity Wrap by SweaterFreak instead.

Oh, I really like the Eun Sweater. I also like the Liv Sweater because it’s a different shape. I have that one in my queue to be knit “someday”. Just so you know, you don’t have to take the whole sweater quantity of yarn with you unless you think you will complete the sweater in a week.
That’s a very good point. I doubt I’ll get THAT much sweater done.
Both those options look great and very comfortable! Sometimes you do need to make yourself a captive audience for your own knitting.
The mitt looks lovely, so neat.
