Finally back to knitting

It’s not much cooler here but I have gotten sucked back in to a project. I started Loops by Martina Behm and it’s been an easy knit so far. It’s all garter with some stripes and funkiness for the arm holes. I don’t have a current picture with the progress into the white section but here’s the last one I have from Sunday.

Just through the stripes

My husband and I visited the Durham Scrap Exchange on Saturday and stopped by the local yarn store in the same center (Freedman’s Creative). I got this gorgeous yarn from them. I think some of my motivation for Loops is that I’m ready to find something to work on with this yarn. It’s beautiful and I’m super enamored with it. I have a couple ideas for it but nothing is set in stone yet. We’ll see what I get up to after I finish Loops.

Just as soft as you’d expect too

No sewing to show right now. I started a new project but made a mistake and have to do some seam ripping. That’s disheartening (as is when you make a mistake in a knitting project) and it always takes me a while to commit to fixing it. It won’t actually take all that long. I just have to sit down and start.
