Baby steps towards small progess

I have finally worked on the sweater. We had DnD on Sunday and I only brought my sweater so I wouldn’t be tempted to work on anything else. I did get a little distracted when my character, Perlen the firbolg, got into some trouble but beyond that I worked consistently.

Character sheet and spell cards in the background.

The Zig meets Zag cowl is going fairly well. For some reason I keep getting misaligned. It’s a simple repeating pattern and easy to read the stitches as I’m going but it just keeps happening. Last time I had to tediously tink two rows to get back on track. The yarn is a buttery soft delight to work with but the constant issues are making it difficult to stay motivated. I will get through it but I’m afraid it will be a push. It’s going to be a wonderful finished object though. Soft and drapey. The yarn was well worth the $40 price tag for a single skein.

After tinking two rows.

  1. That cowl is going to be so worth the effort – it’s beautiful already! I love having a project like your sweater I can work on while I multitask with something else too 🙂

    • Thank you! It is a pretty cowl. I have liked having multiple projects going. I’m normally a fairly monogamous knitter but the variety has kept me motivated this time
