Retail therapy

Today at lunch I stopped by Warm ‘n Fuzzy for some retail therapy. I did want to pick up a long swivel Chiaogoo cord but they didn’t have the right length. Beyond that, I just wanted to squish all the yarn and have a small moment of dopamine. I walked away with two new skeins of yarn.

The green is Hue Loco in the colorway Pear. I have an idea to make a winter set with this. I’ve ordered some more (since I bought the only skein Warm ‘n Fuzzy had) and it seems like it’s already shipped. I want to make the Beeswax set by Amy van de Laar. I’ve knit the cowl and mitts before but ended up giving them to my sister-in-law. The pink/purple is Fuzz Family for Kraeo Twisted Sister Fingering in the color Smashed Berries and will become a pair of socks. I have some scrap yarn in my bin that I think will pair well with this and be an excellent contrast toe/heel/cuff.

I know I have plenty of yarn already but sometimes you just need a little pick-me-up. Now I can’t wait to get home and do some knitting, even if I don’t think I’ll be starting with either of these. I need to get back to my Theodore Wrap. It has languished for too long already.
