I’m still doing a great job at keeping up with Tour de Fleece. Yesterday was a rest day but I spun a tiny bit anyway. I’m nearly done with Faded Indigo and couldn’t resist making more progress on it. It’s really spinning itself at this point. I sit down, turn on the e-spinner, and it just seems to magically wind itself onto the bobbin (sometimes a bit unevenly but it’s handspun, so who cares).
I’m not sure if I’ll finish the singles tonight but I will definitely be done sometime this week. I’m hoping to have enough energy to get through the last of the fiber in the next couple days and then ply together over the weekend. This is the last weekend of the Tour so I’m determined to finish.
I am quite missing my knitting though. My Theodore wrap lives on my desk next to my e-spinner and I’ve started giving it some longing looks. I did take it to DnD over the weekend but I need to do a quick try on of it so I ended up not knitting on it at all. I know I could do both but I’ve found I only have so much energy left after work and if I have a goal then I like working towards that goal. Tour de Fleece isn’t forever, I’ll get back to my knitting soon.
Bonus picture of Casper and Ash having some cuddle time one morning.
