Black and white secrets

I have been doing some knitting but it’s a secret Christmas project so I didn’t want to reveal too much. I did take a black and white picture to show off the absolutely beautiful stitch marker I’m using. It’s a piece of abalone shell. I got it from Fiber Luxe & Co. on Etsy a while back but have such a huge collection of stitch markers that it’s hard to cycle through them all. Such a shame I have to be sneaky about my knitting right now because it’s a beautiful blue green shell.

In a non black and white photo, I have been using a small maker caddy from m.a.b.e.l. to carry my Christmas project. They have this super neat initiative to use vintage quilts in new ways. I’d like to get one of their larger caddy’s to carry around my sweater when it starts to get big but I’m waiting until after Christmas just in case.

I’m hoping to finish my Christmas knitting and get back to my socks and sweater soon. I have knit night with friends tomorrow so that’ll offer a fun opportunity to get things done. One of my friend’s makes cookies with his family every year so I’m looking forward to getting to try a variety of yummy treats. They said this year the total was 1,432 cookies. I don’t think I can eat that many but I can certainly try.
