I’ve finished the Wispy Shawl by Joji Locatelli! It’s beautiful. It lost some of the squishiness in the blocking process but I imagine that will come back with wear.
I’m incredibly pleased with it. It was a pretty simple knit in general but the payoff is wonderful. Now all we need is cold weather so that I can wear it. It’s tempting to crank down the AC just so I can wear it around home.
Moving on to new items, I did swatch for the Streamline Tank by Alexandra Tavel.
I got pretty close to gauge. Not off enough to feel like I’m going to have to adjust needle sizes. I started working on it but quickly realized I had chosen the wrong size for myself and that it was going to be too big. So I ripped it all out and since then it’s been just sitting in my maker box.
Starting a new project, and a garment at that, feels daunting. I needed a palate cleanser. I wrote recently about making a box for the beekeepers quilt and found that this was the perfect time to pull it out. I’ve done a couple of the double sized hexipuffs. It’ll be interesting to see how many I do before I get tired of those and finally start the tank.

What beautiful yarn for your Streamline Tank.
