Deep blue sea

Still plodding along with my Wispy Shawl. The rows are getting long and I’m a slow knitter so it’s going to take me a while. I ran out of yarn for the last gold repeat. It was tempting to try it anyway but I went to knit night and they advised against it. No one will ever notice that one of the gold sections has 6 rows and the other has 5. But I will always know.

It seems like enough…

It was tempting to just order another skein of the gold and use the rest in a scrappy project. I’ve made myself a basket as a place to keep all my leftovers for a scrappy project. I’m torn between the Jelly Roll Blanket by Kay F Jones and The Beekeeper’s Quilt by Tiny Owl Knits. I’ve tried to make the Beekeeper’s Quilt before and just given up over and over but it looks so beautiful and I would love to be able to say I made it.

Ash is not interested

In any case, I would want to finish my Wispy Shawl first so I’ve got to work through the last of the blue section. It’s a sea of lovely blue foam.
