The wispy shawl is wonderfully squishy. Every time I carry it around and someone admires it I have to push them into squishing it. There’s been a lot of ooh’s and ah’s over it. I’d say I can’t wait to finish but it’s too warm to wear it and I’m enjoying the knit. The yarn is a dream.
I got to work on it at my in-laws for a birthday dinner for my nephew. I’m so grateful for them. They’ve been so embracing. It’s such a pleasure to know that I’m looking forward to getting closer to them over the years rather than dreading the holidays and get togethers.
That’s about all the update I have at the moment. It’s been all wispy all the time. I’m moving through it quickly but I’ve still got quite a bit to go. It’s always difficult when it’s something that grows as you work on it. But it’s such a pleasure to watch things grow and progress.

And speaking from experience, I can say having nice, decent folks as in-laws is priceless!
That is a beautiful shawl. What a joy it will be to wear. I too was lucky to have great in-laws and hope I’m a good in-law to my SILs and DILs. It’s such a tough line to be supportive but not over or under involved.
