My yarn still isn’t here so I’ve been working on my socks. I’m done with the foot and on the gusset of the second sock. It’s going smoothly but I haven’t had a chance to work on it recently with some business that came up at work. I have knit night this week and look forward to getting back to it.

My parents have returned from Scotland and brought me a gift as thanks for taking care of the cat. I’m delighted with it! I knew they had found a yarn store that was open but didn’t realize the extent of the gift I’d be getting. It’s all so beautiful! The pink is soft and silky and the green and blue are both tactile and kind of crunchy in the best way. I have some vague plans for everything but I have a lot of projects in my queue so I’m not sure when I’ll get to these. I look forward to finding the time.
