I finished the Beeswax mittens on time! They’re in the mail and should arrive on time to be a birthday present. It’s pretty rare that I get gifts/cards out on time so this feels like a real triumph for me.

I also swatched for the Eun Sweater and got gauge on the first try! I started knitting the collar last night and have just a couple centimeters to go before folding/starting the body.

This weekend I also spent some time processing an ancient fleece that’s been in my stash since my honeymoon with my first husband (you can read the old post about it here). I was pleased it was still in good shape and started working on it with my handcarders. It’s a beautiful natural color.

When my arms got tired of carding I switched to spinning. I’m very pleased with the yarn it’s making and can’t wait to finish. Ash was less impressed by my work and instead stole my chair to survey the world outside.
