I truly appreciate everyone who reached out with kind words. It’s a wonderful feeling to see your support system in action.

My knitting has been going smoothly. I’m a bit bored of my current Simple Thing project but I don’t have far to go so I’m going to finish. I’m on to the decrease section at this point.

I’ve been looking forward to casting on something new when I finish. Right now I’m thinking of knitting the Beeswax Mitts by Amy van de Laar. I gave my new sister-in-law the Beeswax Cowl last year and have some yarn left so I’m thinking of working up the mitts and passing them on to her again. We’ll see.

I’m glad to be back to feeling joy in my craft again.
