As things go, I’ve gotten over my flu. I do still have a lingering cough but it’s getting better day to day. Eventually I did pick my knitting back up but I don’t have good news. The baggu pouch has been frogged. I didn’t get very far but the pattern wasn’t capturing me and everything was all fiddliness and yarn ends.

I made it through the border that made my hands hurt with the tiny needles and crowded stitches then I started the lace pattern. It seemed like I kept making mistakes and I got frustrated with it. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with the flex frame but maybe I’ll sew a bag to use it or I’ll make my own pattern.

Now that I’m free from the headache that is baggu, I’ve started a new project. I have several pregnant friends at work and I’d like to knit things for each of them. Right now I’m working on the Wildflower Tunic by Jessica McDonald. Hopefully this project goes smoother.
