Christmas is always lovely but this year my poor husband was sick and we missed the opportunity to celebrate with his family. This means that I did not get to pass on my Christmas hat to it’s intended recipient. I’m honestly not sure when it’ll go to it’s future owner. But now that it’s past Christmas I’m going to share the hat here. I can’t share on Instagram since the receiver follows me and I don’t want to ruin the surprise.

The pattern is Tied Knots by Justyna Lorkowska. It was a fairly easy pattern to follow but I feel like the cables don’t make as much sense as I’d hoped. That said, I’m pretty happy with the hat overall. The yarn is Swoon Fibers Cashmere DK and is absolutely luxurious. I even had it in my stash so it’s not even something I had to shop for.

My bias advent scarf is going well. It is going slowly with all the family obligation and activities but I can tell you now that it’s going to be a stunner.
