I settled on what the advent calendar yarn is going to be. It’s going to be a bias scarf/wrap. I sat down with the yarn and just looked at everything I’ve done with it so far – I was happy with the original bias scarf. It was going to be way too long so I went to my papa and asked for his help in calculating how wide the scarf had to be to have the desired length with all the advent yarn. The answer was 18 inches. So pretty wide. It’s going to be more of a wrap than a scarf. That’s okay though! I’ll be happy with that too. It’s going to be stunning with the fade from brown into (so far) bright pinks then purples then blues. I don’t have much of it done yet. I was focused on the Christmas exchange hat for a while (I did finish). But I can tell you now that it’s going to be beautiful.
