The time finally came to harvest the yarn from my previous sweater attempt. I don’t think I’ve done a reclaiming of this magnitude before and it was a daunting task. But I got through it without too many hiccups.

I have started on the Christmas hat for my in-law’s gift exchange. It’s wonderful to be knitting with cashmere. Based on how much I’m loving the hat I do think part of my issue with the sweater is not enjoying the yarn.

In other news, we have a visitor cat. My ex-husband and his girlfriend are going to Paris and needed a cat sitter for a cat we had when we were together. I love and missed her so it was an easy thing to offer. She’s settling in nicely. She’s definitely in charge over the two boys we have.
