So I haven’t worked on the sweater in a while but I have been working on other products and making good progress. My
Oyez is going quickly. It’s an easy pattern and the yarn is nice. I will admit, I accidently continued with the rows beyond what the pattern calls for. I was in the groove and got lost in the knitting. I was at my future in-law’s house and chatting with my future family distracted me.
The Carolina Fiber Fair is coming up this weekend. I’m taking two classes: a sweater that fits and fiber prep for hand-painted braids. The sweater that fits class is maybe a bit presumptuous considering I’m still working on my first sweater (slowly) but it’s going to be obviously too large so clearly I need to learn about measurements. Fiber prep sounds fun. I don’t care for when my yarn marls but love the beautiful hand-painted roving I have. Hopefully the answer is more than to chain ply.
