Thanksgiving knitting break

I didn’t do as much knitting as I had hoped for over the Thanksgiving holiday. Most of what I got done was on Sunday while watching KDramas. My goal was to reach the next section of my Color Affection shawl but I didn’t quite get there. I only have a couple of repeats to go but the rows are long and my arms got tired.

Three balls at once is just too many

The fiancé and I had a wonderful break though. We got together with his family on the traditional Thursday then with my on Friday (my mom’s tradition). We made and ate lots of good food. I won the pie competition with my ex-husband’s chocolate pie recipe. But it’s okay that I borrowed it because he made my rolls for his family this year. It’s nice that we can still have a place at each other’s family functions.

I’m enjoying the knitting but I’m very ready to be done with my shawl. Yarn for my sweater came in and I’m itching to start working on it.
