Two shawls, a shrug, and a finished octopi

In 2019 I posted about a work in progress that I wanted to finish. The cute little octopi sat for longer than I’d like to admit but I finally got him done this year. I actually finished him in June but I haven’t been doing a good job of keeping things up to date. I’d like to do better this coming year (yes I’m already thinking new years resolutions). He’s adorable and I’m glad I put the time and effort into finishing him.

I wrote about him first in my “8 Reasons to Keep Going” post when I was struggling. Wanting to finish Opie was reason seven. Reason one was just that I wanted to be happy. I am happy now. I stayed curious about my life ahead and trusted that surely it would get better. It did get better and was so worth it.

Some other projects I’ve finished this year but haven’t posted about:

Pure Joy by Joji Locatelli
Passeggiata by Janina Kallio
Lillian Vintage Shrug by Elizabeth Sullivan
