I finished my cowl and my oh my is it soft. It’s hard to describe how soft it is! I don’t have the right words to tell anyone about it. It’s like the finest down you could think of.

The white is beautiful and pure but does make me long for some color. I purchased some hand dyed cotton/bamboo yarn from a talented friend I have and I think I’m ready to use it. It’s hard when you have some yarn that feels so precious that you can’t possibly use it. But it’s meant to be used! It can’t just sit there accumulating dust. (Not that much dust gets into my fortress of a yarn cabinet!) So I picked out a pattern and pulled out the yarn. I’m going to be knitting Pure Joy by Joji Locatelli.
