Ongoing Spinning Projects
Unicorn Horn

-Started: March 31st, 2015

I’m not quite sure where to start.

First, Hubby got sick. It would be nice to say it wasn’t (isn’t?) serious (nobody dies of shingles, right?) but it felt serious. He was in pain for a shockingly long time. He’s through the worst of it now but he complains often of being itchy.

Second, I entered my Evenstar and shawl of hate Swallowtail Shawl in the Carolina Fiber Fest Skein and Garment competition and they both won! I’m so delighted! This was my first competition and I can’t wait to do this again.

Third, we’re looking for land. All those dreams of someday, maybe, a long time from now, owning a farm are finally coming true! We’re just starting the search for a house and pasture but I’ll do my best to chronicle the process as we go (and gush when we finally settle on a house).
