So much room for activities!

Without that big shawl to take up all of my time I’m getting a ton of work done on other projects.

The socks that travel around with me for day to day, waiting in line, at the doctor, during lunch duty knitting is now a pair. The second sock now only needs a cuff.

I’ve skirted, cleaned, and dried a large amount of alpaca fiber.

I’ve even gotten some yarn off my wheel!

This yarn is a gorgeous color. The picture makes it seem purpley but it’s more of a magenta color. I’m so pleased with it and have all sorts of ideas on what to use it for (mittens are in the top 5 list) but sadly it’s in my basket of sale items for a fundraiser I’m participating in.

I spin for the whole day of the fundraiser (except when I let kids try out the wheel) so I’ll come back with full bobbins to show off. I’m torn between getting started on that alpaca or working through the Romney lamb. Hopefully I can make a decision before next weekend or the spinning demonstration will be incredibly boring!
