To work!

I have not abandoned this blog. It just so happens that my job keeps me so busy this time of year that I didn’t have any time to devote to knitting, spinning, or writing. I’m STILL not done with my Evenstar shawl. It is moving along, but at a snail’s pace.

I’m just about halfway done with the edge. When I realized how busy I was going to be the beads just seemed like more work than I would be able to complete this year so I cut it down to one bead a row at the very edge (it has two knit stitches on the edge so the beads alternate). Even with this chance I’m exceedingly proud of it. This is a truly beautiful shawl.

If I had enough time I think I would knit a second.
