Hubby and I are starting our honeymoon in Washington, D.C. so that he can compete in a Magic the Gathering tournament. He’s going to go kick butt while I spend time with my brother and sister in law.

Sis-in-law and I have already stopped by the local yarn store Uniquities. We picked up a gift for a very kind friend who’s helping to feed the cats while Hubby and I away (did I mention he’s allergic to cats? Great friend!) He’s not exactly new to knitting but is now new to spinning. His gift is some roving and a drop spindle (from fibre space). 

I also picked up something for myself. It was so cute I couldn’t resist!

It’s a tiny niddy noddy! Perfect for those mini skeins I’ve done for the bee keepers quilt.

I also picked up a perfect notions case.

I have two already but this is the first time I’ve seen a non sparkly one.
