With EOCs that is.

Evenstar is coming along nicely too. I’ve finished the small open work section that took me 24 minutes a row. Now I’m on the bigger, more complicated, open work section that’s going to take me more than 24 minutes a row.

Yesterday I went to the local bead shop. Yes, we have a local bead shop. No, I didn’t know about it before yesterday. I was told of this magic place by a friend I work with. She’d been to it only once but when I needed to find some beads she pulled it out of her memory for me. She’s good like that.

I ended up with some lovely dark green beads in a color called amethyst. This is confusing since I was pretty sure amethyst is purple. Either way it’s a good find.

I’m starting to get excited for the finished shawl. Not long now!
