My new Jenkins Spindle arrived in the mail on Friday. It came a day early! Go USPS!

I love that when you buy a spindle from Jenkins it comes with a sample of fiber so if you pick it up during lunch and can’t wait to get home from work to try it out the fiber is there already in the package. The fiber this time was even green which is my favorite color (though you wouldn’t know this looking at my stash). The fiber is polwarth in the alfalfa colorway from Abstract Fibers.

This spindle is dreamy. It’s so light! Right off the bat I’ve got it spinning the lightest of lace weight. This tiny sample fiber is going to go a long way.
